Anyone in a group can invite someone else. It's worth knowing how that works, because Busy Bee Grocer never sends the email for you.
You send the invitation yourself. Entering an address creates the invite and opens your own email app with the message ready — but nothing leaves until you press send. On a phone with no email app set up, nothing will open at all.
The link is the dependable route. Every invite comes with a Copy invite link button. Text it, message it, hand it over however you like — it works the same as the email.
An invite only works for the address it was sent to. That's what stops a forwarded link letting a stranger into your lists. Send it to the address that person will actually sign in with.
"Waiting to be accepted" means created, not delivered. Someone sitting in that list may simply never have been sent anything. Copy the link and send it again — there's no need to invite them twice.
We do it this way on purpose. If the app sent invitations itself it could be used to mail strangers, and a message from an address you recognize lands in your inbox rather than a spam folder.
